If schools had shorter hours would students be more excited to come back and learn?
As a student I have experienced going to school for both 7 hours on a regular school day and 4 hours for a half day. On a regular school day by the 2nd period I want to go home because of how long or drawn out the classes can feel, then by the end of the day go home never wanting to return. On half days, classes are much shorter so spend less time watching the clock and not thinking when will this be over. I then return the following day refreshed and ready to learn.
