Parents & Students for Positive Change at Sherburne-Earlville Schools

Stop violating our children’s rights that are guaranteed under the U.S. Constitution.
Stop violating parent’s rights that are guaranteed under the U.S. Constitution.
 Stop violating educational law.
Start treating our children with respect and fairness.
Start treating our parents with respect and fairness.
Start treating our athletes with respect, kindness, and fair play for all.
Create a FUN, and POSITIVE learning environment.
Create a school culture that is cohesive with our rural community.
Create a Parent-Student organization that administration and the Board of Education will take positive direction from.
Create a positive and rewarding environment for our teacher’s and faculty.
Bring the entire community together thru school - should be common ground for all.
Eliminate guilty until proven innocent behaviors from administration.
Treat our taxpayers with the respect that they deserve. Be fiscally responsible and use alternative resources to achieve our goals, especially during difficult times.
Eliminate group punishment - it does NOT work.
Administration needs to take time to listen to parents, students, community members and faculty.
Keep our kids SAFE, HAPPY, & LEARNING.
Take steps to ensure our administrators live in our school district.
Administrators should take steps to meet and greet students, parents, and community members.
Create a better method to communicate with students, parents, community members and faculty. The robo-calls are not effective.
Masking - do as you say. Administrators not always masking.
The library should be made available for all student’s regardless of their grade point average.
Driving to BOCES Campus should be allowed with reasonable approval. If Boces and the parent/guardians sign a ‘release form” then so should Sherburne Schools. There is NO valid reason to not allow these requests. A liability waiver can be in-place very easily to protect the school if that is their concern.
Use COMMON SENSE and GOOD MORALS when making decisions that effect our children, our students, our parents, and our community members.
If you are unable to fulfill your duties as the Board of Education for Sherburne-Earlville Central School District we will accept your resignation effective immediately. Our community, with guidance from the New York State Department of Education will act immediately to take legal control of our school and do what is in the best interest of our children, students, parents, faculty and community members.
