Parents and concerned Citizens are petitioning the Pleasant Hill Board of Education to remove the superintendent, Dr. Steven Meyers of his duties as the superintendent of the R3 school district.

Many believe that Dr. Meyers is doing what he thinks is right for our children and has time after time politicized issues, broken the trust of the community and much more. He has zero children and zero grandchildren in the district, but he knows what is best with our children? We call on the Board of education and community to vote out someone that clearly has a different agenda rather than solely the education of our students.

Dr. Meyer's number one priority has become taking guidance from the CDC, other entities, over listening to the cities community and parents who are concerned with the education of our students.  There is a clear division that is happening and the future of our children's education is being hindered due to such division. 

We as parents and concerned citizens are calling on the Board of Education to hear your community and use your power to get a Superintendent that fits our children's needs in a way that isn't politicalized in Pleasant Hill, Missouri.
