SAVE SCS (Seattle Counseling Services)

SAVE SCS (Seattle Counseling Services)

The Issue

SCS has been a staple of mental health services in Seattle for over 50 years, creating a safe place for the Rainbow community and others. As well as serving individuals on Apple Health and other low income programs, who might otherwise not receive the mental health services they needed.

The SCS Board of Directors has decided to shut down SCS at the end of this week, citing irreparable financial losses.

SCS has served my life greatly and helped me get the mental health services I desperately needed, to live a full, happy life. I have had truly AMAZING counselors at my 6 years as a SCS client.

I'm asking the people of Seattle or anyone who has used SCS, or received mental health services to please consider standing up with me AGAINST this decision. Let your voice be heard! The people of Seattle deserve better!
