Matthew Johnson started this petition to The Board of Commissioners of Upper Dublin Township

The sharp curve on Farm Lane between Melissa Drive and Schiavone Drive has already been identified as a problem area in Upper Dublin Township. We are asking the Commissioners to make the sidewalk completion on Farm Lane a priority with regards to the funding that is being used for the Critical Connections Program. Signing this petition could speed up the process to make our community safer.

On a beautiful Tuesday morning, my wife decided to take a walk with her mother, and our 3 year old and 9 month old sons. They often walk around the neighborhood, but rarely do they take the path of the curve on Farm Lane because visibility is low for cars coming around that bend. They decided to end the walk early and the quickest route home was taking the curve. Sure enough, a car came around the bend speeding and actually had to swerve to avoid hitting them. It was a frightening experience, and made me realize how the lack of a sidewalk on the street could soon lead to an unfortunate accident.

Please join us in notifying the Commissioners that the timely completion of the sidewalk on the curve of Farm Lane is critical to the safety of all pedestrians walking this road.
