Target : The road emerging from the Kanjurmarg West Railway Station to the LBS Road near Huma Cinema, Mumbai - 78
Current State - The road is very badly maintained. It has large pockets of dirty seepage waters (no exaggeration). Line of eateries at one side and a very badly maintained auto rickshaw stand on one side. The shops and few industry units do not have the required drainage systems in place. Food waste are thrown on the roads. Gutters smelling with all the muck. The rickshaw drivers, tempo drivers, private taxi drivers are major contributors to this entire ruckus.
Victim - The daily commuters who comprise of office goers, students, small children, women, senior citizens, physically challenged people who have to walk through this dirty stinking road since there is no other option.
The biggest victims are the residents of Mahavir Trinkets Co-op Hsg Society who are facing the maximum brunt of this badly maintained road on a daily basis.
Steps taken by us - Have filed our complaints with the "S" ward BMC, with the local RTO and police station pleading for a better road and discipline at this place. Thank you to the humble commuters who have come forward signing on our campaign for Road Development and Good Hygiene.
We know that there are countless people using this road to their destinations on a daily basis. Humble request to all to please keep sharing and posting our efforts on their walls so that we are able to gather maximum support on our endeavor for a beautiful Mumbai. Swach Mumbai.. Sukhi Mumbai...
