Aslinya WhatsApp adalah aplikasi sosial media yang artinya semua orang dapat ber sosial tanpa harus menutup-tutupi apapun, karena sifatnya bersosial. Tapi entah mengapa WhatsApp selalu memandang dan menutupi hal-hal privasi pada usernya walaupun platformnya adalah sosial media. Firtur penutupan privasi ini berkesan tidak berguna, timbul pikiran negatif pada pengguna lain, melencengnya arti sosial media, dan ciri khas sosial media menjadi hilang secara perlahan. Firtur-firtur penutupan privasi yang sangat tidak ada artinya, yaitu:

4. Hide Last Seen
5. Hide Status
6. Hide read report
7. Timer Message
8. Hide Info
9. etc

WhatsApp harus menghapus semua firtur tersebut agar aplikasi tersebut kembali menjadi kategori Sosial Media atau kategori WhatsApp harus di ganti menjadi Privat Media, atau aplikasi ini harus di blokir di beberapa negara.

Originally WhatsApp is a social media application which means that everyone can socialize without having to cover up anything, because it is social.
