The Ranch Quarry proposes clearing and mining 70 acres, done in 3 phases from 2025 thru 2045. This proposes 25 trucks in-and-out per day, with exposure to 50 trips per day on our local roads, 6 days per week.

Issues are traffic, road deterioration, noise, dust, diesel fumes, fish & wildlife, water table and wells, wetlands & watershed pollution, quality of life and more.

Relevant documents posted by the county do not honestly and adequately address the environmental issues and the impact that this size project will have on our community. The buyout of Cowden Gravel and Ready Mix, by Aggregate Industries (AI PNW Inc.) and their parent international conglomerate LafargeHolcim, raise serious issues. They have seriously
