Council member Elo-Rivera is proposing legislation to begin charging San Diego single family homes for trash collection. These changes of the People's Ordinance would not require a 2/3rds vote like a traditional tax hike through a loophole. We live in a city with some of the highest taxation and costs of living in the nation, these services are already paid for by the hard work of our community and the taxes collected by them. We want this bill to be blocked by the other members of our city council.
