EOS dev team needs to make a native ledger nano app supporting safer token registration

As EOS HODL'ers we hereby sign this petition to request to the EOS and block.one team to implement this proposal before the June launch date of the EOS main-net:
Currently we are all holding our EOS Erc20 tokens on some Ethereum wallet interface, or through some exchange. Block.one and EOS.io have given us a web interface registration process that many have agreed could otherwise be leveraging existing hardware wallets (such as the ledger nano s) to make the end user feel more secure, when registering their native EOS keys. Currently there are billions upon billions of dollars of end-user and investor money that can be better secured using a hardware wallet to secure their private keys during registration. We believe that this is a simple solution to this problem that we would like to be available to investors.
The proposal is simple in theory: We would like the EOS dev team to allocate some resources to developing a simple ledger nano application that would generate our "native" EOS private keys, whereby which we can use its corresponding public EOS address and map it to our existing Ethereum address holding our ERC20 EOS tokens. This would ensure that our native EOS private keys cannot be compromised through an internet connected device. We believe that hardware wallet integration is a "best-practice" for projects currently worth billions of dollars, and is absolutely necessary to ensure a smooth transition to the June launch. We sign this petition to show our level of concern and seriousness regarding this matter.
