Incentive to Diablo II Resurrection Community for ongoing game and server stability issues
I believe that Activision/Blizzard have put the Diablo II community through a great deal of stress with the recent full launch of Diablo II Resurrection. The game was priced as a completed product and suffers from frequent crashes and daily server crashes that result in constant progress rollbacks, including experience, levels, loss of items found, loss of items traded, and the list goes on.
I've been giving a lot of thought as to what we as a community deserve as compensation for being paid "beta testers" after paying full price for what was supposed to be a fully tested product.
I propose that we as a community stand together and demand that until such time as the game crashes and server stability/constant progress rollbacks have been resolved, that Activision/Blizzard temporarily increase base Magic Find/Drop Rates of better quality items and High Runes until such time as these issues are resolved. This is a fair incentive that affects all players, helps saturate the item market, de-incentivizes item selling sites by lowering item values somewhat, lowers incentive of attempting dupers causing stress to the servers, again by decreasing overall item values some. It's a win win win.
