Unfortunately on the first of February 2019, Trinity Grammar's cricket, and Australian cricket as a whole was dealt a great blow. Mr James Bett, the Teacher in Charge of Cricket at Trinity Grammar School sent out an email to all members of TGS Cricket senior squads that round. In this email the 1st, 2nd and 3rd XIs were announced, but also announced was a great Travesty...

Sean Larkin, the previous captain of the 2ndXI was announced as the captain of the 3rdXI. With this, Nicholas Fewster was ousted, and the game was brought into disrepute.

Nicholas Fewster, a former 2ndXI and 10A representative was a well-loved captain in his only 3rdXI appearance to date. Scoring 30* at under a run a ball, wicketkeeping and bowling the 16th and 18th overs. This all-round brilliant performance came despite a losing effort. Yet without even a second chance, Fewster was dropped.

It has been suspected by numerous sources that Fewster's loyalty to previous coach, Mr Samuel Bentley, has cost him his position.

When asked for whom was responsible for this debacle, Bett responded "Ask Mr [Blake] Meadows". Meadows is a noted fan of Fewster, having claimed that "Fewster was accurate, got a bit of movement off the seam, and eventually wriggled one through the gate and thoroughly enjoyed knocking over his first Sri Lankan castle.  Or should that be temple?  Whatever, he deserved his pole and celebrated accordingly." and noting his "accurate 'Mother in Law' (nagging) back-of-a-length medium pacers" in multiple match reports during the 2017 TGS tour of Sri Lanka. How could it be, after all this support, that Meadows has demoted Fewster so thoroughly after accepting the initial challenge of Skippering the boys whilst at their lowest Ebb.

Bring Justice to TGS Cricket and Nicholas Fewster. Such a travesty shouldn't go unheard and i beg for your support.
