Allow myp2+ to go outside the school to get a small snack during breaks from local shops.
We want to allow MYP 2+ or grade 7+ to be able to go outside the campus during breaks. I believe that the school will not lose anything by this happening and the student experience will be much more enjoyable. We appreciate and respect the school for giving such a wide-open and large playground to be in during breaks but if you forget a snack or don't have water you will be hungry and/or thirsty for 1-4 hours more when lunch comes. If you let students go to places such as Coop, Jojo livs and Pak asian foods during breaks you can A. let students support local businesses and B. eliminate student hunger and thirst during breaks. If the school believes that there must be restrictions to what you can buy or where you can go then so be it, if the school is worried for students coming late to class then that can be solved with banning them from going off-campus during breaks. Allowing it will greatly improve student morale and energy, therefore resulting in a better learning experience.
