I writing this as a concerned parent.

I live on Golding Drive and every morning and afternoon I walk my kids to the crossing where they cross the road and walk down the footpath directly to the school gates. On the daily I see cars flying up and down Golding Drive and almost hitting children that are crossing the road - today it was my kids that were half way through one side of the crossing and a driver didn't stop. Thankfully they were alert and jumped back where the car had just missed them - the driver honked at them but didn't stop. Other furious drivers around sped up to the car and cornered the driver off and abused their insults at the driver.
I have contacted Blacktown City Council and asked what I can do to have the crossing moved for the sake of my kids and others to ensure they are able to return home safely. They have requested I start a petition so council would consider even looking at it.

I have emailed the school aswell to see what they can do to assist.

I don't want a child to have to loose their life before we as a community choose to take action.
