Sad to see yet another piece of good architecture replaced with yet more dross. The Blackfriars Road really is becoming an eyesore with all these out of context new builds.

The loss of built heritage - to be replaced with yet another steel and glass box and the fact that the local community is once again ignored. This is OUR City. Those that profit from its "redevelopment" are not interested in anything other than a profitable return on their investments.

The development is not in the best interests of the local community - and poor design is depressing on a daily basis.

I live in the area and this redevelopment would mean that a large number of locals will have to relocate. Added to this, I am not keen in seeing another Barratt plan taking place again and favoring more corporate companies and food chain.

Enough tearing up of communual, social and creative spaces and filling them with dull ugly concrete and glass buildings - please don't be so short-sighted!

This local institution is what makes London special...the proposed development is poorly thought out.

Unhappy about the continual building of large upscale tower blocks, without any thought to what the local community needs and general poor design/architectural
