Frank. Doe started this petition to Black people

This is a petition to strip the title of Auntie from the beloved comedian Monique. Doing her "address to the black community" (while in her bathrobe) she made some disparaging remarks SOLELY about black women dressing for comfort while out and about their lives. Stating that to wear such attired as bonnets, scarfs, pajamas,  sweatpants and even having a blanket in the cold airport is unbecoming to Queen status and those who choose to must not take pride in themselves. She also stated "how can we demand respect from others if we don't respect ourselves"..

Well this is a tap on the shoulder to remind her that it's 2021 and  regardless of what person is wearing, especially black women that we all are entitled to respect because -- we are human beings. That black Queens dressing for comfort does NOT mean they don't have respect for themselves. Lastly , let's leave the  respectability politics derive for white supermacy and eurocentric ideas behind because when our men wore three piece suits and the lady's wore dresses they we're still strung from trees..

The entitled of Auntie is a cherished honorific that should not be taken lightly.

Oh and the next time you need somebody to boycott something , go ask somebody else.
