This child safety gun law would sentence individuals on a upward departure, outside of  the Minnesota sentencing guidelines, for any crimes that involves the death of a child when using a firearm, and upward departure for any individual or individuals who recklessly discharge a firearm in a residential neighborhood. This law would give the families the justice needed if their child is struck by a stray bullet. What happened to Ladavionne jr, Trinity Smith, Aniya Allen and London Bean is unexceptable.  We have no answers but here is the solution. We Believe, getting this legislation passed through Congress we can deter the next shooter.
