Give Chuck Brown, a BET Lifetime Achievement Award in 2013!

Chuck Brown was and still is "The Godfather of Go Go Music!" He started a sound that live on forever in Washington DC, and throughout the world. Black Entertainment Television started in Washington DC. What better company to immortalize his legacy than BET? He burst onto the scene in the 1960's as a guitar player, but never won any mainstream awards over the next 50 years. In 2010, he was nominated for a grammy with a song called, "Love," featuring Jill Scott and Marcus Miller. He has a street named after him in DC. He has a park being named after him in DC, and August 22nd has been designated as "Chuck Brown Day," starting in 2012. Lastly, Chuck Brown was recently named one of the 45 most influential people who shaped DC in the past 45 years by Washingtonian Magazine. Please give him the "Lifetime Achievement Award" in 2013, BET, cause we FEEL LIKE BUSTIN' LOOSE!
