"ବଗଲା ବଞ୍ଚାଓ ଆନ୍ଦୋଳନ" କୁ ସମର୍ଥନ ପାଇଁ ନିବେଦନ l

ପ୍ରିୟ ଶ୍ରୀ ଜଗନ୍ନାଥପ୍ରେମୀ ଭଉଣୀ ଓ ଭାଇମାନେ,

ଆପଣମାନେ ଜାଣିଥିବେ, ଗତ କିଛିଦିନ ହେବ ଶ୍ରୀକ୍ଷେତ୍ର ପୁରୀରେ ଥିବା 'ବଗଲା ଧର୍ମଶାଳା'କୁ ରାଜ୍ୟ ସରକାର ପ୍ଲଟିଂ କରି ବିକ୍ରି କରିବା ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ, ବିଜେପି ଆନ୍ଦୋଳନ କରୁଛି। ଇତିହାସରୁ ଜଣାଯାଏ ୧୮୯୯ ମସିହା ରଥଯାତ୍ରା ସମୟରେ ଯାତ୍ରୀ ମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ରାତ୍ରି ବିଶ୍ରାମ ସ୍ଥଳୀ ନଥିବାରୁ, ହଜାର ହଜାର ଯାତ୍ରୀ ବଡଦାଣ୍ଡରେ ଆଶ୍ରୟ ନେଇଥିଲେ l ସେଇ ସମୟରେ କୌଣସି ଏକ ମହାମାରୀ ପ୍ରଭାବରେ ବହୁତ ସଂଖ୍ୟାରେ ତୀର୍ଥଯାତ୍ରୀ ମୃତ୍ୟୁ ବରଣ କରିଥିଲେ।

ଏଥିରେ ବିଚଳିତ ହୋଇ ମହାନ ବଦାନ୍ୟ ମହାପୁରୁଷ 'ବାବୁ କହ୍ନେୟାଲାଲ ବଗଲା' ସେହିବର୍ଷ ତତ୍କାଳୀନ ସ୍ୱାସ୍ଥ୍ୟ କମିଶନଙ୍କୁ ଏକ ପ୍ରଶସ୍ତ ଧର୍ମଶାଳା ତିଆରି ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟରେ ୩୫ହଜାର ଟଙ୍କା ସ୍ୱତଃ ପ୍ରଦାନ କରିଥିଲେ। ସେହି ଟଙ୍କାରେ ୧୯୦୫ ମସିହାରେ ତିନି ଏକର ଜମି ଉପରେ ୪୪ଟି ବଡ ବଡ ପ୍ରକୋଷ୍ଠ ଓ ପ୍ରଶସ୍ତ ଅଗଣାକୁ ନେଇ ଏହି ଧର୍ମଶାଳା ଉନ୍ମୋଚନ ହେଲା। ଯଦିଓ ସଂପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ମାଗଣାରେ ଏହି ଧର୍ମଶାଳାରେ ଯାତ୍ରୀ ରହିବା ଦାତାଙ୍କର ଇଚ୍ଛା ଥିଲା, କିନ୍ତୁ ରାଜ୍ୟ ସରକାର କୌଣସି ସାହାଯ୍ୟ ନକରିବାରୁ, ସ୍ୱଚ୍ଛତା ରକ୍ଷାର ଖର୍ଚ୍ଚ ପାଇଁ ଅତି ସ୍ୱଳ୍ପ ମୂଲ୍ୟ ଦେଇ ଦୂର ଦୂରାନ୍ତରୁ ଆସୁଥିବା ତୀର୍ଥଯାତ୍ରୀ ଏଠାରେ ରହି ପ୍ରଭୁ ଶ୍ରୀ ଜଗନ୍ନାଥ ଦର୍ଶନର ଅଭିଳାଷକୁ ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ କରୁଥିଲେ। ଏତଦ ବ୍ୟତୀତ ଏଠାରେ ନାମ ମାତ୍ର ମୂଲ୍ୟରେ ବାହାଘର, ବ୍ରତଘର ଓ ଆଧ୍ୟାତ୍ମିକ ପ୍ରବଚନ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ଅନାୟସରେ ହେଉଥିଲା।

ରାଜ୍ୟ ସରକାର ରକ୍ଷଣାବେକ୍ଷଣ ପାଇଁ ଟଙ୍କାଟିଏ ଖର୍ଚ୍ଚ ନ କରିବାରୁ କାଳକ୍ରମେ ଏହି ଧର୍ମଶାଳାର କୋଠା ନଷ୍ଟ ହେଇଯାଉଥିବା ବେଳେ ପ୍ରଧାନମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ମୋଦିଙ୍କର ଆଗ୍ରହ ଫଳରେ କେନ୍ଦ୍ରର ପ୍ରସାଦ ଯୋଜନାରେ ଏହାକୁ ପୁନଃନିର୍ମାଣ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ୨୦କୋଟି ଟଙ୍କା ପ୍ରଦାନ କରିଥିଲେ। ସଂପୃକ୍ତ ଠିକାଦାର ତିନି କୋଟି ଟଙ୍କା ଖର୍ଚ୍ଚ କରି କାମ ଆରମ୍ଭ କରିବାପରେ ହଠାତ ରାଜ୍ୟ ସରକାର ଏକତରଫା ଭାବେ ନିର୍ମାଣ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ବନ୍ଦକରି ଏହି ଧର୍ମଶାଳା ଜମିକୁ ଷଡଯନ୍ତ୍ର ମାଧ୍ୟମରେ ପ୍ଲଟିଂ କରି ବିକ୍ରି କରିବା ଆରମ୍ଭ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ଶ୍ରୀମନ୍ଦିର କରିଡରରେ ଜମି ହରାଇଥିବା ବ୍ୟକ୍ତିମାନେ କ୍ଷତିପୂରଣ ବାବଦକୁ କୋଟିକୋଟି ଟଙ୍କା ପାଇଥିବା ସତ୍ତ୍ୱେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ମାତ୍ର ୬ଜଣଙ୍କୁ, ଗରିବଙ୍କ ଆଶ୍ରୟସ୍ଥଳୀ ପାଇଁ ଦାନସୂତ୍ରରେ ମିଳିଥିବା ଏହି ଧର୍ମଶାଳା ଜମିକୁ ବିକ୍ରି କରିବା ଦ୍ୱାରା କୋଟି କୋଟି ଜଗନ୍ନାଥପ୍ରେମୀ ଭକ୍ତ ଏବଂ ସାରା ବିଶ୍ୱରେ ଥିବା ଓଡ଼ିଆମାନଙ୍କର ଭାବାବେଗକୁ ଶକ୍ତ ଆଘାତ ଲାଗିଛି। ରାଜ୍ୟ ସରକାରଙ୍କର ଏହି ପଦକ୍ଷେପ ଜଗନ୍ନାଥ ସଂସ୍କୃତି ଓ ଓଡିଆ ଭାବାବେଗ ପ୍ରତି ଚରମ ଆକ୍ରମଣର ନମୁନା।

ଏହି ପରିପ୍ରେକ୍ଷୀରେ ରାଜ୍ୟ ସରକାରଙ୍କୁ ଅନୁରୋଧ ଗରିବ ତୀର୍ଥ ଯାତ୍ରୀଙ୍କ ଆଶ୍ରୟସ୍ଥଳୀ ବଗଲା ଧର୍ମଶାଳାରୁ ବିକ୍ରି ହୋଇଥିବା ୬ଟି କବଲାକୁ ରଦ୍ଦ କରିବା ସହିତ କେନ୍ଦ୍ରୀୟ ଅନୁଦାନର ସଦୁପଯୋଗରେ ଏହି ଧର୍ମଶାଳାକୁ ପୁନଃନିର୍ମାଣ କରିବେ l ବିଶ୍ୱର କୋଣ ଅନୁକୋଣରେ ରହୁଥିବା ସମସ୍ତ ଜଗନ୍ନାଥ ପ୍ରେମୀ ତଥା ଓଡ଼ିଆ ମାନଙ୍କୁ ବିନମ୍ର ଅନୁରୋଧ ଏଥିପାଇଁ ଆରମ୍ଭ ହୋଇଥିବା ଆନ୍ଦୋଳନକୁ ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣମାତ୍ରାରେ ସମର୍ଥନ କରନ୍ତୁ l

बगला धर्मशाला बचाओ आन्दोलन के लिए निवेदन l

प्रिय श्री जगन्नाथ-प्रेमी बहनों और भाइयों,

आपको ज्ञांत होगा की पिछले कुछ दिनों से श्रीक्षेत्र पुरी स्थित बगला धर्मशाला को राज्य सरकार द्वारा षड़यंत्र करके बेचने का विरोध कर भाजपा आंदोलन कर रही है।

हमारा इतिहास केहता है कि सन १८९९ की रथयात्रा के दौरान यात्रियों के लिए विश्रामघर ना होने के कारण हज़ारों भक्त श्रीमंदिर के सामने, जो विस्तृत रास्ता जिसे बड़दांड कहा जाता है, वहाँ पर आश्रय लिए थे । उस समय एक अज्ञान्त महामारी का शिकार होकर उनमें से बहोत सारे तीर्थयात्रिओं की मृत्यु हो गई थी। इस बात से विचलित होकर महान दानी महापुरुष " बाबू कन्हैयालाल बगला " जी ने तत्कालीन स्वास्थ्य कमीशन को एक बृहत् धर्मशाला बनाने के लिए ३५ हज़ार रूपये प्रदान किये थे। उसी धनराशि से सन १९०५ में ३ एकड़ ज़मीन के ऊपर ४४ बड़े कमरों और एक विशालकाय प्रांगण के साथ एक धर्मशाला का उन्मोचन हुआ था । धर्मशाला को यात्रियों के लिए सम्पूर्ण निःशुल्क रखने की बगलाजी की इच्छा थी। परंतु राज्य सरकार की ओर से कोई भी सहयोग ना होने के कारण धर्मशाला की स्वच्छता को ध्यान में रखते हुए स्वल्पमूल्य देकर दूर-दूर से आए हुए तीर्थयात्री यहाँ रहकर श्री जगन्नाथजी के दर्शनभिलाषा पूर्ण करते थे। इसके अलावा नाममात्र मूल्य देकर विवाह, उपनयन संस्कार और आध्यात्मिक प्रवचन के कार्य सम्पादन भी हुआ करते थे।

राज्य सरकार ने अपने तत्वावधान में रखरखाब का कोई भी खर्च वहन न करने के कारण धर्मशाला धीरे धीरे नष्ट हो गई। प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदीजी के आग्रह से केंद्र की ओर से प्रसाद योजना के अंतर्गत पुनःनिर्माण के लिए २० करोड़ रूपये प्रदान किए गए।

तत्पश्चात ठेकेदार ने ३ करोड़ रूपये खर्च करके पुनःनिर्माण का कार्य प्रारंभ किया परंतु राज्य सरकार ने एकतरफा निर्माण लेके कार्य को बंद कर दिया और धर्मशाला की ज़मीन को षड़यंत्र करके बेचने लगी। श्रीमंदिर के कारिड़ोर में अपनी ज़मीन खोने वाले लोगों को क्षतिपूर्ति के लिए करोड़ों रूपये मिले, उनमें से 6 व्यक्तिओं को गरीब यात्रिओं के आश्रय के लिए दान में मिलने वाली ज़मीन को बेचा गया। इस बात से करोड़ों श्री जगन्नाथ भक्तों को और सारे विश्व मे रहने वाले समस्त ओडिया भाई-बहनो को ठेस पहुंची हैं। राज्य सरकार का यह कार्य जगन्नाथ भक्तों के प्रति चरम अपमानजनक एवं असंवेदनशील है।

इसी सन्दर्भ में राज्य सरकार से अनुरोध है की गरीब तीर्थयात्रियों की आश्रयस्थली बगला धर्मशाला से बेचे गये 6 कागजात रद्द किए जाए और साथ ही केंद्रीय अनुदान का सदुपयोग धर्मशाला के पुनर्निर्माण में किया जाये। विश्व के कोने-कोने में रहनेवाले समस्त ओडिया और महाप्रभु श्री जगन्नाथ के भक्तों से विनम्रतापूर्वक अनुरोध है कि वे इस धर्मशाला के पुनःनिर्माण के लिए शुरू किये गए इस आंदोलन को अपना पूर्ण समर्थन प्रदान करें।

Dear Mahaprabhu Shri Jagannath devotees,

As you are aware, since last few days the BJP is protesting against the conspiratorial plotting of Bagla Dharmashala of Shrikshetra, Puri by the State Government of Odisha.

Historically it’s a well-known fact that in the year 1899, during the famous car festival of Lord Jagannath, thousands of pilgrims had to suffer a lot owing to non-availability of accommodation facility, which resulted in pilgrims sleeping on the Grand Road (known as Bada Danda) in front of the Jagannath Temple, Puri. Since there was a widespread epidemic at that time, a lot of pilgrims lost their lives. Saddened by such occurrence, noted Philanthropist & Great Man Shri Kanhaiya Lal Bagla ji contemporaneously donated Rs 35,000/- to the Health Commission for building a massive and spacious Dharmashala. That fund was used for building the Dharmashala with 44 enormous rooms and a courtyard on three acres of land which was inaugurated in the year 1905. Bagla ji wished the Dharmashala to be completely free of cost for the pilgrims, but, as there was no help from the state government for building this Dharmashala, the poor devotees of Lord Jagannath used to pay a very negligible amount towards sanitation. The management of Dharmashala was very attentive for the comfortable stay and the darshan of Lord Jagannath. Apart from this, events like marriage ceremony, thread ceremony and other spiritual teachings would also be organised on that venue at a very nominal cost.

Since no one took care of the maintenance of the Dharmashala and the State Government also turned its back for the upliftment of the Dharmashala, the Dharmashala building was badly damaged with the passage of time. However, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi took interest in it & through the Prasad Yojana Rs 20crore was sanctioned from the Central Government for renovation of the Dharmashala. Subsequently, the contractor started the renovation work with an amount of Rs 3 crore, but the state government stopped the renovation work and started hatching a conspiracy to sell the land. Although, the displaced people, who lost their lands for the corridors of SriMandir, received huge amounts of money from the state government in the form of compensation, six persons were given land by plotting the Bagla land. This act hurt the sentiments of crores of Jagannath devotees & Odias across the world. This callous action by the State Government was considered a huge humiliation for the Jagannath devotees.

The State Government is requested to rescind the plotting schemes of the above-mentioned property and let that land be used for the sole purpose of utilisation by the pilgrims and Jagannath devotees. Simultaneously, the money given by the Union Government should be utilised for the re-construction of the famous Dharmashala. It’s our humble request to all the Odia folks and devotees of Mahaprabhu Jagannath to support our cause wholeheartedly.
