Doctrinal Criticism is the blasphemous act against the Bible and the Holy Spirit. As custodians of democracy, we are fully aware that our constitution requires provincial legislature to encourage public participation in their legislative and other draft processes. All sittings of the legislature and its committees are open to the public and the media unless there is very good reason to exclude them and in this case there should be none. Furthermore, according to our humble understanding, we take cognisance of the fact that the KwaZulu-Natal Legislature is committed to inform and educate all communities in its legislative processes and general good governance. It is also responsible to take the legislature closer to the people so that the public is able to make meaningful contributions towards good governance in our province and country. As government partners/stakeholders and community participants, we were not properly informed and officially invited, neither were we given the opportunity as the marginalized indigent and previously disadvantaged communities. We were not part of the draft processes of these new proposed bills relating to religious rights and freedom of religion. We, as government partners/stakeholders and community participants, raise our concerns against the implications concerning our future, working together with Government's charter of positive values which derives its mandate from our existing constitution of The Republic of South Africa - Chapter 2, Section 9, Sub-Section (1-5).

The above accords and guarantees the rights to all citizens of South Africa concerning human dignity, freedom of religion, freedom of association and freedom of speech. This draft proposal, namely the new hate speech bill, speaks directly to the practice and the freedom of our religious rights. Furthermore, it will be in conflict with our freedom to practise our autonomy of religious rights.
