Birth pools to be made available at Hervey Bay Hospital for water immersion and birth.
Women should be able to labour and birth how they wish and our local hospital should support this.
Currently Hervey Bay hospital are suggesting that pools “don’t meet standard” but 3.5 hours away at Gladstone Hospital they do, all it took was for 600 signatures from their community to make it happen!
