Small Heath Ward residents want Councillors who will work for them and not ignore them.
We the undersigned residents, business owners and stake holders of Small Heath request that the Labour Party removes Cllr Safia Akhtar and Cllr Zaheer Khan from the selection list of Birmingham Labour Candidates for the Birmingham Local Election in 2022
Cllr Safia Akhtar and Cllr Zaheer Khan have ignored persistent requests for a Ward meeting. They have ignored case work, and health and safety issues such as fly tipping.
When these issues are raised with Cllr Safia Akhtar and Cllr Zaheer Khan on social media such as Facebook, in polite and respectful ways, residents are faced with abuse either directly from Cllr Safia Noor and Cllr Zaheer Khan or family members.
Many of us are loyal Labour members, and because of the way these two conduct themselves, we will not be voting Labour if they are selected as the candidates for the Birmingham Local Election in 2022.
If Labour choose these two as their candidates in Small Heath, for the Birmingham Local Elections in 2022, we will not be voting Labour and will encourage others not to.
Cllr Safia Akhtar and Cllr Zaheer Khan are not fit to be in public office.
Please help me and sign the petition and get better councillors who will help residents in there ward of Small Heath and not ignore them.
