We demand the Council Tax increase of 5% for the year 2021/22 is refunded to all residents due to poor service.

Please support this petition if you are a Birmingham resident and are unhappy with services provided by Birmingham City Council

This demand is neither unfair nor unreasonable as we are paying in advance for services, constantly complaining but do not get a satisfactory response or improvement

Families are paying between £55 and up to £175 extra in council tax this year and no doubt like all previous years the Council Tax in Birmingham goes up and the quality of services goes down

One example is despite forever chasing the council and logging missed rubbish collections, the service has not improved and on the contrary is going from bad to worse. There seems to be no accountability just excuses after excuses every week.

So please sign this petition and show your dissatisfaction of Birmingham City Council’s services and that you are not getting value for money for your Council Taxed paid by your hard-earned money and simply want the increase of 5% refunded for this year.
