hi my son matthew is 3 years old and was born with hypoplastic left heart syndrome (half a heart) he is due open heart surgery at the end of the month at birmingham children’s hospital. Due to covid only one parent at a time can be with matthew. A lot of hospitals have changed this so both parents can be with there poorly children but birmingham children’s hospital still haven’t. At times like these children needs both parents together and parents need each other. i’m really hoping this changes so family’s can be together again through the hardest times. please help and share.
