Birla Public School Doha Qatar to withdraw the new additional fee for NFC Enabled ID Cards

0 have signed. Let’s get to 2,500!

Birla Public School Doha Qatar has introduced new NFC Enabled students ID Cards with an additional fee of QAR 50 per month citing the Children safety, without any pre-notification and approval from authorities. This causes unwanted burden on the parents' monthly budgets. This is additional to the "activity fees" charged on us without any pre-approval of the authorities.

School shall withdraw all the unwarranted additional fees considering the fees approved by the Ministry of Education Doha includes the costs for ensuring Children's safety and activities in the campus.

Personal story
Dear Sir,
Reference is made to the Circular issued by school to parents dated 15 November 2018, regarding the implementation of the NFC Enabled students ID Cards; we, the parents would like to express our anxieties as follows:Whilst conveying our gratitude for introducing the advanced safety measures for our kids, but also raise our disappointment for implementing a fees for the same without giving any advance notification about the additional burden to the parents. As well aware, the currents job condition of Qatar is seriously alarming to most of us and many of our Employers has reduced the living allowances/ salaries and hence we are in a situation of finding possible cost saving opportunities in order to survive with family. And an additional fees on transportation at this situation will cause more pain to most of us. Most of us has more than one child studying in your school and it would double our concerns. Therefore, we kindly request you to implement this new system as an optional service, so that the non-concerned parents can opt to advantage this facility. We have always cooperated in past for any and all periodical increase in fees and transportation cost, and hope that the management will consider our humble request.
Thanks and Best Regards
