Emma S. started this petition to biola university

Over the past few days, the number of Coronavirus infected Americans has reached over 1,000 people, including community transmissions in Riverside County. The California Department of Public Health recommends colleges “consider alternates to congregate programming within the campus including large or communal events.” California has declared a state of emergency and USC, UCLA, and other UC campuses have responded with transitioning their campuses to online and Azusa has cancelled their events this week. Biola needs to be a leader in placing the students safety first and not require Missions Conference to be mandatory attendance (with a penalty of about $400 for not attending). All 4,000 undergrads meeting together is a breeding ground for this virus to spread and for everyone to continue the spread back to their family and loved ones.  If you agree, please sign and share.
