BiNet USA is trying to copyright the bisexual pride flag and use of its colors in order to profit. They claim that only BiNet USA has the right to sell flags and merchandise of the bisexual colors. No only would this extremely limit the availability of bisexual pride items (flags, apparel, jewelry, phone cases, etc.) it would mean that businesses who make and sell bisexual pride would have to PAY for the right to use the flag. At the moment, the majority of people this would affect are LGBT+ people and small business owners. 

The whole point of the bisexual flag is to show your pride, and BiNet USA copyrighting the flag would be an infringement on bisexual people showing their pride. They don't even SELL bi flags in their shop, much less reasonably priced and/or attractive merchandise.

BiNet USA needs to stop claiming that the bisexual flag is copyrighted by them. They need to apologize for doing so, and in the process, doing the exact opposite of what an organization like theirs should be about - supporting the bisexual community and members of the broader LGBT+ community.
