AMLI Campion Trail Enhanced Security

We are all tenants at AMLI Campion Trail.
In light of recent events on security breaches in AMLI, we would like to direct your attention to the problem of inadequate security, and ask that prompt action be taken to correct them.
We request that the security of AMLI Campion Trail be improved. At present, there are no security video cameras in the premises, specifically in the gated parking garages and hallways. This situation has become dangerous and intolerable given the fact that recently there have been multiple security breaches in AMLI Campion Trail premises as well as neighboring apartment complexes.
In addition, on Las Colinas Police department website there are reports on multiple apartments and car break-ins that are under investigation in this area.
The effectiveness of the security video cameras or its equivalent such as closed-circuit television (CCTV) has been proved in multiple studies done worldwide. According to the study “Public Area CCTV and Crime Prevention: An Updated Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis” published in Justice Quarterly magazine in 2009, the analysis found that surveillance systems were most effective in parking lots, where their use resulted in a 51% decrease in crime.
The multiple studies prove that the video cameras can indeed help reduce the crime. We, the tenants of AMLI Campion Trail, on our side promise to take all reasonable precautions to ensure the safety of our belongings and valuables. As you are probably aware, the tenants of AMLI Campion Trail have formed Campion Community Watch where we inform each other of any issues related to the safety and security, we remain vigilant in the premises making sure that non authorized vehicles and people do not tailgate us in the premises.
We ask that you consult a security specialist to develop an overall plan for improved building security and install cameras as per the proposal below:
1) Parking Garage (Building 1 and 2) – 20 cameras:
a. 1 camera at the entrance/exit gate – 2 in total per building
b. 1 camera per each floor – 8 in total per building
2) Hallways (Building 1 and 2) – 28 cameras:
a. 1 camera per each entrance/exit point of the building, 1st floor - 14
