In April 1999, Greg Lance was arrested for a double homicide in Cookeville, Tennessee. He is currently serving two concurrent life sentences. He was convicted by a jury. However, the evidence presented in the court was circumstantial, jailhouse statements, and testimonies from individuals who later recanted their statements. Soon after the conviction, Greg’s daughter was born. He has had to watch his daughter grow up, behind bars. Greg Lance has always maintained his innocence, and will continue to do so.
