I’m signing this petition because I know that this young lady didn’t have a fair trail. I feel like they just wanted to close this case. It’s so many unanswered questions that need to be answered.

It's just wrong how the person that probably did the murder got off, and she got life.

A 13 y/o star student with no priors walked 2 miles to commit robbery / murder with a stranger who is 13 years her senior and who has confessed that he does not know her? No way. Her grandfather provided a very probable and conceivable case of how her fingerprints may have gotten on the tape. The system failed her and her family.

This is why I have lost all faith in the justice system. Angel has suffered possibly the grossest miscarriage of justice I have ever seen. It’s unconscionable that any right-minded juror could acquit a grown man implicated in the murder (and him alone), and thus conclude that a 13-year old CHILD somehow performed that extensive tape job, robbery and murder of a grown-ass man in a 15-min time-frame, all by herself, based off two of NINE different fingerprints on some tape that has a sensible story for being there. Her brothers or grandmother could have been involved and taken the tape from their house to the crime scene, or it could have traveled via the grandfather during a handyman job, as was suggested. The DA even stated the murder was likely accidental, due to suffocation during the robbery. So even if she had been at the murder… is that not involuntary manslaughter? Excuse me, I mean a child bystander to an involuntary manslaughter? THIS WOMAN NEEDS JUSTICE NOW. Let’s bring her home to her family where she belongs.

I’m signing this because Angel Bumpass is innocent. There is no way that someone who was not only 13, but has done all of these great things in life would have intentions on murdering a person. It’s upsetting that she already has lived a rough life growing up with no one to defend her back, and that’s why I’m signing this petition. #FreeAngelBumpass

Wrongfully convicted. Who are these Tennessee idiots who served on this jury?! We all saw the same trial, just unbelievable.
