Please allow spring sports such as softball and baseball to resume. Most sports complexes have 6 fields or more and spread out over 15 or more acres. To allow restaurants and retail spaces to open even at 50 percent capacity still allows a much larger percentage of people per square foot than would be at a baseball or softball complex during a tournament. Children are being unfairly discriminated against in the discussions on what is and is not essential. While sports are not essential, I feel that my child is much safer on a ball field than at my local Walmart. I also feel that it is essential to my child’s development and emotional well being to be allowed to participate in the sport they enjoy.
