NYC SCHOOLS SNOW DAY January 25th, 2016 AFTER 2nd WORST NYC BLIZZARD

We just experienced the 2nd worst snowstorm that NYC has EVER seen! The Mayor and his team have decided to keep the schools in ALL NYC Boroughs OPEN the day after the blizzard. Streets are dangerous, not plowed, staff travels far, students travel far, there are pregnant people, small children, and civilian adults at risk. We demand that you close NYC schools for ONE day. The roads need to be properly taken care of, as well as the school grounds before service returns. MANY teachers and STUDENTS will not be in school tomorrow regardless, but it is the point that WE need to get what WE deserve, SAFETY. This is our life, and it's time to protect and care for our staff, parents, and children. It's time to stop BAD government DECISIONS.

CLOSE THE SCHOOLS! SHARE THIS PETITION!
