Tenured teachers to be able to retire at year 20

Teachers are civil service city workers who have to work until they are at age 62 or 55 with 25 years of service. FDNY, NYPD, and DOC can retire at 20 years no questions asked. Teachers should have that right as well. We work extremely hard as NYC's Brightest every single day. We spend the most grueling hours with children, grooming and preparing them for society. Is our work not important? Are we less than NYPD, FDNY, or DOC? Fair is fair; we should not be looked upon any different from those other city agencies.
