The pride of a society gets reflected on the pride of the people on its Language. Bihar has been exploited for the long time by both outsiders and her own political leaders. As a result her identity has been transformed from a land of enlightenment which is the motherland of almost all eastern society, religion and culture to a rough state with uneducated people . 

We as the citizens of Bihar must acknowledge this fact that it's us who have the responsibility to reclaim original identity of the land as birthplace of Dharma and abode of human civilization, the land of knowledge and enlightenment. 

For the thousands of years people from around the world used to come here in search of knowledge and peace . Yet today we are struggling to keep our identity alive! 

I want to start with a small baby steps, first would be dropping the language of Hindi and Urdu which definately have roots in our land but you all will agree that none of both is our mother tongue! It's as alien to us as it is to a Bengali or gujrati or a tamil citizens! 

Here I am starting a petition to make Maithili and Bhojpuri as our state language! Our ignorance has led degradation of it, which is clearly visible in obscene songs and movies bhojpuri film industry is producing nowadays. These two languages are the real language in which our folklores are , not in Hindi or Urdu! If we don't respect our heritage than others never will.

Let's hold our hands together and try to send this message to bihar government to recognise our languages as state languages .
