The endless suffering for retail workers

I have been a retail worker for a few years now, and it's that horrible time of the year again. Constantly listening to Christmas music is absolutely insufferable. Instead we should ban Christmas music, as it is absolutely terrible. We don't need to listen to 10 different versions of ' all I want for christmas is you'. It is bad enough we have to deal with the rush of all the people doing Christmas shopping, but to listen to Christmas music for up to 10 hours a day! One particular song comes to mind; Must be Want a by Bob Dylan. Try listening to that on repeat, we want no more.

Furthermore, there's people who don't celebrate Christmas at all, and so to them it must be horrible. What's worse is that they start in november! Two months of listening to Christmas music, you wouldn't want to put up with that on the Radio, or Spotify. Imagine if the months of December and November you're only able to access Christmas music. Sounds pretty terrible doesn't it? That's how us retail employees feel.

Christmas is supposed to be a festive time for all of us, and the only time I respond the time I have to have panadol because I have a headache from listening to terrible Christmas songs.

So please help us all out, and give back this Christmas
