While temperatures are dropping in Minnesota, Burnsville High School Students can no longer walk long distances in the freezing cold. Our administration has locked the nearest doors to the student parking lot from 8 am to 2:30 pm. When students come to school later or come back to school after an excused absence, those students have to walk from the student parking lot to the main doors which is about a quarter of a mile. It is a health and safety hazard for students have to walk that far in below-zero weather. Please sign this petition if you believe Burnsville Highschool should keep their front gym doors unlocked!
