Game reserves and wildlife management are rarely compatible with mining, and uranium exploration in a World Heritage Site is a scary proposition.

It is unethical to turn a World Natural Heritage into a Uranium mine, it just don’t worth it..

1. The World heritage Sites are for each and every person in the world to visit and enjoy the natural beauty of the world. These sites are for the present and future generations alike. They shelter vast number of living things that have right to life much as us human has.

2. If the site is going to be turned into a uranium mine, the uranium that is going to be mined is going to be used for making Nuclear weapons to arm the developed nations and/ or producing energy which is going to fuel the engine of the world economy. which as we all know is concentrated on few hands instead of many. Why risk the interest of many for the benefits of few???

The people of the world (those without major investments in armaments and nuclear power) do not want any uranium mining done anywhere, at any time, for any purpose. Get it? This stuff is continually forced on us (& now on the elephants too) by people who apparently believe that everything in this world is separate, not connected. I've got news for you....

I urge those who are to make this decision to think carefully and follow their hearts. The jobs and the money are not worth the destruction of this ecosystem and its precious inhabitants.
