- To provide safe access with no obstruction for mothers with children and to the wider public, to the playground in Frank's Park, via Parkside Road. The existing road surface is dangerous and unsuitable for safe use of buggies and those of an elderly or physically challenged disposition. Why should these groups be prevented from accessing local public amenities, due to local government unwillingness to maintain Parkside Road, but rather return allocated funds back to central government.
- Proposed action needed - To resurface the entire length of Parkside Road.
- To remove the risk of damage to car owners forced to travel along Parkside Road. Due to the depth of current potholes, car undercarriages and suspensions are being subjected extreme conditions resulting in costly repairs.
Proposed action needed - To resurface the entire length of Parkside Road.
To prevent persistent fly tipping.
Proposed action needed - To increase the number of fly tipping signs, one for every entry point onto Parkside Road.
To improve vehicle and residential security. Street lighting will act as a major deterrent towards fly tipping and other antisocial behaviour towards public and private property.
Proposed action needed - Street lighting for unlit areas.
To improve the well-being of the local community. Locals will be able to take pride in their local area once the necessary council investment is made. This will promote a positive sense of community and will encourage positive behaviour, sense of inclusion, accessibility, safe and clean neighbourhood for all to enjoy.
Proposed action needed - Install litter bins along Parkside road side and conduct regular cleaning along the roadside verges. (Show truncated justification text)
