I am starting a petition for boys to be able to wear shorts during the hot weather. Girls are allowed to choose between skirts/trousers so I feel boys should be allowed the same with shorts/trousers, I'm not sure about many others but I know for a fact that my son and his friends were really struggling in the heat last year and all he kept asking was to be able to wear shorts, smart shorts and we approached the school with this and were told they were allowed to not wear blazers but trousers were compulsory. This made little difference during the hot weather at the end of the last school year and I don't see why shorts aren't allowed.

So please if you think this rule should be allowed during the hot weather sign this petition and get anyone who agrees to sign as well. Hopefully this will give the boys what they deserve and freedom to wear smart shorts/trousers dependent on the weather.
