Robert Willis started this petition to Betty Crocker and

Betty Crocker's Scooby-Doo fruit snacks were perhaps the most iconic and delicious fruit snacks ever to exist. Throughout our childhoods, Scooby-Doo snacks were the foundation of making snack-time fun. Their vibrant colors, amazing flavors, and remarkable character resemblances drove Betty Crocker's Scooby-Doo fruit snacks to amazing heights. Parents across the country were buying Scooby-Doo fruit snacks by the boxes for their fanatic children. THEY. WERE. ICONIC.

Sometime in 2015, General Mills did surveys on their fruit snack consumers, and found that 50% of the participants said they would be more likely to purchase fruit snacks if they did not contain artificial flavoring or coloring. To back this, General Mills immediately began reformulating all of their fruit snacks to contain less artificial flavoring and coloring, a noble gesture. HOWEVER, in doing this, the traditional flavors and colors of the fruit snacks were completely abandoned. The ABSOLUTELY CLASSIC light-blue Scooby-Doo shaped snack is no longer the same color OR taste. In their attempt to please the consumers, General Mills has completely failed to do so. Kids today will never get to experience the same joy of having fun and tasty Scooby snacks that the older generation did.

Although there are much more pressing matters at hand in the United States, I truly believe giving us a piece of our childhood back is essential in relieving some of the pain we've endured throughout this year. I am asking General Mills to abandon their reformulated Scooby-Doo fruit snacks and go back to the original colors and flavors. If you also want to see our favorite light-blue Scooby-Doo, please sign this petition and send it to your friends/family! Help me bring back a piece of our childhood to make 2020 just a little bit better.
