Please stop and take 2 minutes out your time to read this and sign even if you don’t have solar panels at this time. I want to keep this as short as I can so you’ll actually read it and not skim it and move onto the next article.

1st of all I’d like to say solar is brilliant and has saved me a fortune and continues to save me a lot of money every month.

Since January 2020 the government has said all electrical suppliers have to pay you for your feed of electricity to the national grid (the excess energy you create but can’t use (could be that your batteries are full or don’t even have battery storage) this is now known as Smart Export Guarantee (SEG) it was (FET Feed In Tariff) the only problem is the government never said how much so here is the problem, the electrical companies own this tariff and dictate how much they are going to pay you, this is an outrage especially when you see how poorly your paid for your electric per KW and what you have to pay them back per KW.

Prices have gone through the roof with little justification apart from their overheads have gone up, well so has ours yet no offer on the electric we supply back.

Fact: Back in May 2017 on one Friday afternoon a record 1 quarter of the UK’s generated electricity was supplied by solar.

Not all of you have solar reading this, maybe your considering solar in the future that’s face it in 10 years time we are all running electric cars as you wont be able to buy a petroleum power car. Where is all this electric coming from?? There isn’t enough power stations our governments answer is foreign investment so they can build power stations and then feed us electric and make billions of pounds and send it home, how do you feel about this!

Your roof is a power station plain and simple and will be the backbone for supplying electric across Briton we are needed so millions of homes power up and all in time to come can charge their cars and vans, without us we are looking at a massive power shortage.

We need as many signatures as possible to bring it to parliament to change this. Why should you invest thousands of pounds to give back to be re-distributed for pennies and be relied on to do this? Why would you want to think about investing in the future for this to happen?

Its very easy to skip over this and think “yes he’s right” and do nothing, please, please, please sign the petition lets get it to parliament and start getting real money back rather than accepting pennies. We need a minimum of 100,000 signatures to guarantee it gets to parliament. 

In time to come you are ALL going to be heavy users of electricity  with the ban on all petrol and diesel vehicles the country is relying on YOU to supply most of the electric with your solar get paid properly don’t leave it in the hands of corporations who’s sole purpose is to make as much money as they can. 

Let’s get it to government, they are listening they have already made if VAT  Free for solar installations (Because they are desperate for the excess electric) 

Please just because you don’t have solar now it’s possible in the future you will.
