On Bestech sanskruti 92 project, the pedestrian walkways are just adjacent to full length balconies and roof of the buildings. Any object falling due to wind or dropped inadvertently by children or loose tile falls directly on the pedestrian walkways. Data shows that due to the height of the falling object even a light object falling over someone can be fetal. This is a design safety defeciency by the builder. Ideally the walkway should have been a bit far from the drop zone or there must be a steel mesh net / transparent roof over the walkways. In recent past there have been instances of stone tiles falling over the pedestrian walkway. It was sheer luck that noone was under it at that time. But we may not be lucky every time over next 50 years. Even one casualty that can be prevented must be prevented. I urge all bestech sanskruti 92 residents to support this petition so that the responsible parties act and make it safe.
