I was in a similar position many years ago, in an accident caused by an under-insured idiot driver. I can't believe we haven't changed it in all these years!

It's bad enough that a driver with such an egregious record has been allowed a license but letting drivers like this carry only minimal insurance allows them to continually victimize the family.

You are absolutely right!! He should've had to been required to carry the fullest of coverage to protect anybody involved in an auto accident due to.his negligence behind the wheel!
