We have politicians who have spent their entire life in office. Just holding onto their positions, doing enough to get reelected, not doing what we have elected them for. This is not about parties, this is about members of congress living off our tax dollars, and doing a horrendous job of approaching any issues. The goal is a bill that would place term limits on being in each position of congress.

Throughout the country, different states have placed term limits on their officials. This allows them to run for a different office once their terms have run up, but does not allow them to sit as a senator for 20+ years. This petition is to introduce legislation that would put strict term limits on all federal elected officials, and potentially state official's as well.
