After the horrific events at the US Capital on Jan. 6th by a mob of domestic terrorists and Trump supporters, incited further by Sen. Ted Cruz (Texas) and Sen. Jeff Hawley (Missouri) objecting to the results of the electoral college, I am asking for their immediate resignations.

Their support of the assault on our democracy needs to have consequences and they need to be held accountable for the part they played in spreading conspiracy theories and false information regarding the election.

I ask my fellow citizens, both Democrats and Republicans, to join me in calling for the resignations of these two senators.

I know there are others who also need to be held accountable, but these two individuals have lead the main efforts to object to the election findings of the Electoral College.
