'Tis truly saddening to learn about the genocide happening around the world in our oceans, particularly what's going on in Japan. I used to think better of Japan so it's particularly disappointing to learn about the whale, dolphin, etc. slaughter happening there.

Like many who've signed this, I ask myself what I can do to help. If this helps to any extent, I'm all in. I'll also be consuming less meat and fish!

I have watched this tonight and it is shocking. Never again will I contribute to the barbaric practices highlighted in this fantastic documentary. Thank you for shining a light on the criminal acts taking place in these industries.

The cruel treatment and killing of marine life is horrific. I’m shocked at the things that people and particularly commercial enterprises do to our oceans and wildlife. It has to stop. I believe that as individuals, we can make a difference in many ways. Signing petitions such as this one is one way we can help to raise awareness and potentially directly influence positive change.

Industrial Fishing is rapidly depleting our oceans of marine life, including majestic animals like whales, dolphins, sharks, and so many others. These animals face mass extinction. It's almost work than factory farming (for meat and dairy production). It's devastating what our species is doing to all other beings, just to satisfy our taste buds?! Really?! We have enough fruits and veggies to eat on this earth, we don't need to kill other beings to sustain ourselves. In fact, doing that is the very opposite of sustainable living. Please see what we're doing and start to live consciously. Killing other creatures is depleting us of so much that we don't understand, and if we continue, then we're also going to wipe out our species. All of existence on this planet is inter-connected.

It's everyone's responsibility to leave our nature the same or better than we found it for future generations. The total lack of ownership and responsibility by generations is astounding
