I'm disgusted at the conditions of this place. This is now how or why I bought into Bentwood.

I get lukewarm water in the shower, at best. Broken molding in the hallway on the 6th floor that is just sitting there. Sad excuse for lobby renovations.

When you first walk in, it doesn’t give you an inviting and welcoming atmosphere and there is no pride of ownership and care into the place. Many months I’ve seen renovations being done in the lobby - plastic bags, dusts, chipped flooring, and messy entrance in general. I thought that this was a work in progress but how these hideous renovations are coming along thus far is a clear indication how the building doesn’t care about the home owners. It’s in dire need of change!

From my experiences- Management is not producing results and is antagonistic to residents. Board. members hide and self-serve while using our funds for god knows what since they don't report or feel accountable. The dilapidated state of the facilities speaks volumes. The fact that board members go out of their way to prevent communication in the building does as well. We pay an extremely high HOA for no amenities. No gym. sporadic hot water. AC issues. no maintenance plan. Roaches. unsanitary hallways and that's the tip of the iceberg. There is no accountability. Seems the pattern is that people that go on the board, leverage their position and then leave the building. I for one am tired of funding this. It's time for accountability. Transparency and constructive change!

This building is in an amazing location, but has not kept up with the other condos in the immediate area as well as the nearby areas. It has fallen further behind since I moved in in 2013. The tactics used by everybody so far, along with all the finger pointing and worse, haven't gotten us nowhere. It's like we're locked in reverse, while the rest of the area is passing us by. We need to do this to save the building, reduce the likelihood of catastrophe, and improve our community, our Chinatown neighborhood, and everybody's individual wellbeing.

Management systematically ignores residents. Most of the board does not live in the building and all of the board does not care what residents want.
