Police officers are entrusted to enforce laws and ensure safety of the public. Good judgement is required as a police officer to ensure safety of the public. Officer Miller lacked proper judgement leaving his partner, a police dog in a car with the windows closed in August and as a result his partner died. Do you trust the judgement of this officer to safely carry out the duties of his job, including carrying a firearm? I surely don't
This shows a lack of 'moral' character and civic responsibility. This time he leaves his partner, a police dog locked up in a hot car, next year a perp perhaps? The following year a child perhaps? And do you think anyone on that force wants to be his partner. A partner is supposed to have your back on the job, he obviously turned his back on his K-9 partner and left him for dead.
