Withdraw The BitLicense Proposed Regs

This petition had 20 supporters

Hi:  I'm Bradley Jansen, editor of and am committed to protecting privacy and liberty.  Previously I was a legislative aide for Rep. Ron Paul and lead the opposition initiative to the “Know Your Customer” proposal producing over 300,000 comments to the US Department of Treasury Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN), which lead to the withdraw of their proposal.

New York Department of Financial Services BitLicense proposal is a gross overstep of people's legitimate right to privacy. According to one of the experts in the industry, Perianne Boring, President of the Chamber of Digital Commerce,  Numerous businessmen have told me they are ready to block out all New York IPs from their servers and will not do business in this jurisdiction if these proposed regulations are enacted.”

As a privacy advocate, I suggest raising your voice and singing this petition.  I live in Washington, DC near the Capitol and know from first hand experience how powerful your voice can be, so please sign this petition and tell your friends.
