We hope to petition for a designated amount of time each week for only women to exercise at the Murphy Recreation Center. We believe it will create a stronger community amongst women and provide a more comfortable environment for women to work out in. Many women we know don't go to the rec-center because they feel self-conscious, they worry about people watching them, and they are afraid of looking like they don't know what they're doing. By providing this time, women can embrace their best selves and feel a bit more comfortable doing so. Above, the female Patron Saint of strength, Saint Gemma, can be seen. With enough voices & support, hopefully women can become happier and healthier! <3
